Billy will be playing a Festival Tour of Australia.
Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney. October 5th through 12th.

**Harley-Davidson Motor Company and NAVAIR Lakehurst have mutually agreed not to hold Harley-Davidson's 100th Anniversary Open Road Tour event at the naval base near Toms River, NJ. This event will now take place at MD Jockey Club (Pimilco Race Course) in Baltimore.

It has been suggested that the House of Blues will be a good place for fans to get together before &/or after the show in Las Vegas. The HOB is situated in Mandalay Bay itself, offers good food, a bar, pleasant surroundings & pretty good music. It is also big enough to hold a fair sized group.    
It seems that some fans will be meeting up from around 5pm & again after the show. Please feel free to join in the fun. Everyone welcome!

I have received many mails from fans going to the Las Vegas show & would like to get-together with other fans. If you would be interested in sharing travel &/or accommodation, please let me know.
Also anyone with general knowledge of basic good rate accommodation in the area, please let me know & I will post the details for other fans to share.

Just to let you know that some places are starting to get booked up now, Wynn Bettinsoli was quoted (01/06/02) minimum rates of $399.00 for 21 July at the Mandalay Resort, $120 at Excalibur, and $150 at the MGM Grand. If you are planning to stay in Las Vegas, you need to book as early as possible. Thank you to Wynn for this info.

Susan Knisely suggests you might like to check out rates for the Excalibur which is two down from the Mandalay and has a shuttle tram between the Mandalay, Luxor and Excalibur. She says Las Vegas looks big but is really not that big therefore if you stay on the strip you should be able to get to the Mandalay for under a $12 cab ride. Joe Calabro is arranging another Idol bash in Philly before/after the show. As last years, it promises again to be a lot of fun & Joe plans to invite the local press. Details will be posted as soon as they are finalised. Joe is very familiar with the area & will be very glad to help anyone out with travel arrangements, accommodation info, eateries, venue details & any other local information you may need. Update on the Raceway Park show in Englishtown NJ on August 18th.
It has now been confirmed that this event has been cancelled by town officials. Billy will still perform in another city of New Jersey & we will let you know the venue as soon as it has been confirmed.       5/7/02  

Billy, his manager & Stephen McGrath are listed as riders in the Iron Horse Tour 2002 July 19 - 27, 2002 Edmonton, Alberta to Los Angeles, CA
As this now coincides with Billy's forthcoming tour, they regret they will not be able to participate. 5/5/02

It has been reported that town officials, fearing gang violence have cancelled the event on August 18  at Raceway Park in Englishtown, NJ.
This has not yet been officially confirmed, we will advise as soon as we know the outcome.            5/5/02

I asked Steve recently if he could tell us anything about the forthcoming shows & he says that there will probably be about four acoustic songs, as has been the case during the last few tours. He says they will possibly be trying out a new song or two also.
