I like listening to reggae mainly stuff
that was happening in the 70's Prince FARI's 'Under heavy Manners' Dub encounter series -
Lee 'Scratch' Perry they just boug brought out "Arkology" on
Island - it has the version of "To be a lover" that I heard & rocked it up.
There's a couple of good compilations "Dubwise" on blood & fire label &
Frontline Dub on Virgin/Caroline if you fancy a dip. A friend gave me a modern
trip/hop/reggae/Kraftwerk/ sound C.D. by Rocker hi-fi -has a couple of weird good tracks.
That Barry Admundsen had a great song on his Oedipan shoemidpus-"The
Sweetest embrace" sorta Faux jim morrison,.....

Dear friends, I found an old "face" mag. which featured Michael Hutchence (1991) obviously a while ago. And his happy, positive, character came thru load & clear. He said he had no drug problem, & had avoided divorce & the resulting altercation from the mother or children. He said he drank abit but was genuinely having fun. WOW! amazing what can happen physically & mentally in a few short years.
I suppose my own downward spiral involved just the same set of feelings. I can't believe I pulled back from 'the edge' just in time. I've really got a hold of myself and I must admit that my son & daughter

I suppose for me I would search for an answer in Music & books. Building one's mental facualities in self education brings about many rewards, mainly a sense of not being alone and the power to reason. Are you drifting? Everything dragging you down? My tattoo was done at the Sunset parlour in 1982. I had a book that was about how some Russian Art Students (and physcology) Wanted to make a statement about the Soviet Kruschev regime (late 50's early 60's) but knew if they wrote out their grievences they would be arrested. Seeing some of the alternative comics coming out of theU.S.A., they decided to model her on a Brigitte Bardot, Mata Hari, James Bond Spy Amozonian Strong Women. Standing as the Original aspirations for Marxism rather than the "Democratic" communism, of the U.S.S.R. She wears the RED Star on her forehead to signify her allegiance against the "white" forces

Glad to see you like Robin Ludwig's 'The Hammer of God' work. I do for years. He made a ring which is a facsimile of the 'Tower of London' in Gold & the windows in tiny diamonds. It is about 1½" to 2" big. Their is a picture done about the Cyberpunk time of me in Gold & the ring. Actually the ring is the " White tower" built by William the Conqueror. I was am always interested in History, and a namesake gets you when you are young & I was newly back from America age 6 & feeling out of place. I was born English / Irish, moved to the U.S.A. in 1959, came back '62 and had an American accent. The British Kids called me "the Yank" "give it to the Yank" they said while playing soccer in Dorking (Michelham, Box Hill) we lived in a pub "The Running Horses"

America seemed Technacolour / G.B. Back & white. I felt out of place with my slang & as I had only got used to the U.S.. Soon, by the time we moved to Worthing (Goring) by Sea 1963. I had an English accent.
We moved to Bromley when I was 13 1970? I had great friends in Worthing (Lol SATCHEL) but soon Bromley made sense & I met Siousie & Steve (from the Banshees) ; Simon Barker; the Bromley Contingent 60's up,up,up, from there. We saw "Mersey Beat," Black Sabbath, Frank Zappa M.C.5 from 69->73, all the progressive music. I loved the Velvet Underground (White light, White HEAT,) & IGGY POP. THEY seemed so far from London but so near to GOD. LOU REED became my IDOL after John Lennon.& IGGY. I was jealous of people who saw Iggy at Kings Cross London about the time of Raw Power. But soon we saw Lou REED with "THE WHO" AT CHARLTON S.E.3. & "Rock 'N' Roll animal" "Transformer". Actually a great continuation of MUSIC - from Elvis to Punk Rock

Well MP3.com provided a bit of a relief. "Sleeping" is not totally representative of what me & Steve want to achieve overall. But it seemed right for XMAS & as a ' Thank You' too you to you fans' who have kept the faith with me thru' these turbulent times. Steve plays on "Angel" but as you know we are intent on a Rock 'n' Roll record.
Around the tree, my whole Family will be here (L.A.) MUM & DAD, Steve Jane Matthew Caroline & Mark, & plus Bonnie & Willem
When we unwrap our presents we listen to Elvis XMAS songs. My favourite at the moment is "Everyday should be like XMAS" RED WEST his school friend wrote it!!
I hope that MP3.com is some sort of panacea for new music from me -- so look out for more.
