This is the story of a die hard fan of Steve's. He managed to get his guitar signed before the Bottom Line gig.

I just wanted to say thank you again for the honor of meeting Steve Stevens it was fantastic. I know you were worried about me selling the guitar on ebay later, but that is not what I am about. While Steve no longer uses Hamer guitars, he got me into them back in the 1980s. There is a web page for Hamer fans called www.hamerfanclub.com and I have been a member there since it's beginning, about three and a half years ago. People always ask me Steve Stevens trivia stuff, which I know from all the articles I have saved. Anyway, you can see my glowing review of last night's show and post on the message board.

and realize that I am a true fan, and the guitar Steve signed for me will be with me forever. I have lived a full life, having climbed the Great Wall of China, Ayers Rock in Australia, been great white diving and on safari in South Africa, as well as being in Moscow on New Year's Eve for the changing of the guard at Red Square, BUT meeting Steve was better then any of those experiences. Perhaps some day I will be lucky enough to meet him again. Anyway, please give Steve my thanks again.
